After many years, German Week is back in Melbourne, and we couldn’t be more excited to share this vibrant celebration with you! Running from 20 – 26 October 2025, this event promises to become a key highlight in Melbourne’s cultural calendar, much like its counterparts in Brisbane, Adelaide, Canberra and Perth.

German Week Melbourne is supported by various levels of government and the local German community, who have been instrumental in bringing this event to life. Our program is designed to inspire and engage, showcasing the dynamic relationship between Germany and Australia through a series of cultural, culinary, artistic and industry-focused events.

From engaging panel discussions to exciting cultural events, each part of the week is crafted to strengthen the ties between our two nations and to celebrate the rich and diverse contributions of the German community in Melbourne.
